Lisa Fay Zemelman has served as the Adjutant for VFW 2514 for two years. Originally from Kansas City, home of the VFW National Headquarters, she has lived in eastern North Carolina for over 15 years. During her career in the Army, Lisa Fay first served as an Intelligence Analyst and later became a Watercraft Engineer. She spent time in Kinston, Morehead City, Fort Eustis, and Fort Bragg, and deployed twice to Kuwait. After more than a decade of service, she medically retired from the Army as a Staff Sergeant. Since retiring, Lisa Fay completed a Public Health degree and is currently finishing a Sociology degree. She represents VFW 2514 at Chamber of Commerce events and on the Nonprofit Council.
