Free Readjustment Counseling – Every Tuesday at Dixon-Conderman VFW Post 2514

Dixon-Conderman VFW Post 2514 proudly partners with the Greenville Vet Center to bring no-cost, professional counseling services directly to our Post in New Bern.

A Vet Center counselor is available right here at the Post every Tuesday (by appointment only) to provide confidential readjustment counseling and support.

Who can access these services?

Veterans, Active Duty service members (including National Guard and Reserve), and their families—no VFW membership required.

Services include:

• Individual, group, marriage, and family counseling
• Support for transition to civilian life, PTSD, Military Sexual Trauma (MST), grief, loss, and other challenges related to military service
• Referrals and connections to additional VA or community benefits

Vet Center counselors and outreach staff—many of whom are Veterans themselves—are experienced in discussing the impacts of war, trauma, and readjustment in a relaxed, non-medical setting.
