At Dixon-Conderman VFW Post 2514, we're here to help. Our Post is a welcoming space built on camaraderie and shared military experiences—Veterans from all eras gather here to connect, share stories, offer support, and enjoy friendship in a relaxed, no-pressure environment. Whether you're transitioning to civilian life, navigating service-related challenges, or simply want to be around others who truly understand, you're among brothers and sisters who have your back.
We have people and resources ready to support you: fellow Veterans to talk with, professional counseling available right here at the Post, and experts to guide you through benefits and claims.
Through our partnership with the Greenville Vet Center, a counselor is available right here every Tuesday (by appointment) for no-cost, confidential support. This is available to all Veterans, Active Duty service members (including National Guard and Reserve), and their families—no VFW membership required.
(Or call the Greenville Vet Center directly at (252) 355-7920.)
Our Post Benefits Advisor helps member Veterans, families, and survivors understand and access benefits and entitlements. They offer guidance on VA programs, answer questions, review decisions for accuracy, assist with initial claims or appeals preparation, and connect you to local, state, or federal resources. To speak with them or get started, use our Contact Us page.
For complex claims, appeals, evidence development, or representation at hearings, our accredited Department Veterans Service Officer (through the VFW Department of North Carolina) provides free, full advocacy to all members. They prepare and submit VA claims for compensation, pension, disability, medical care, and other benefits to ensure you receive what you've earned. To connect with assistance, use our Contact Us page.
Reach out today—whether for benefits assistance, professional counseling, a cup of coffee and conversation at the Post, or just to meet fellow Veterans. We're stronger together, and we're here for you.
